María Isabel Salvador
Director of External Relations
Studied Law at the Catholic University of Quito and the University of Cuenca. She has a bachelor’s degree in French Language and Civilization awarded by the Université de Geneve in Switzerland, and she has a Diploma in Management awarded by the USFQ in Ecuador. She obtained an International Master’s Degree in Management, with a double degree awarded by the Universidad Andrés Bello in Chile and the Universidad Europea de Madrid.
She worked as the General Manager and legal representative for an important international airline in Ecuador for 15 years. She was director for Ecuador at the International Federation of Tourism Business Executives; vice-president of the National Federation of Provincial Chambers of Tourism of Ecuador (FENACAPTUR); and president of the Association of Representatives of Ecuadorian Airlines (ARLAE).
She has served as the Minister of Tourism and Foreign Relations, Commerce, and Integration, has been an Andean Parliamentary in representation of Ecuador, and has served as the permanent ambassador for Ecuador in the OAS. Additionally, she worked as the president of the Government Council of the Special Regimen of the Galapagos Islands.
